Dana Brooke has won her first championship in her WWE career as she is the new 24/7 Champion.
Brooke took advantage of her opportunity and pinned Cedric Alexander to win the gold. Heading into RAW, the 24/7 Title was held by Reggie who has been the predominant holder over the past couple of months. In a short match, Alexander put away Reggie but his celebration came to a quick halt.
Several male WWE Superstars came rushing to the ring after him to become the next champ, but it was Dana Brooke who was on the turnbuckle behind him that he never saw. Brooke hit a Blockbuster off the top turnbuckle to get the three-count to win her first championship.
As Brooke was elated by her win, those who were chasing for Alexander stopped their chase. Brooke was seen backstage a bit later in the night and was watching her back knowing that she has to defend the title at all times. She was stopped for an interview and explained that she created an opportunity and captured it, much as she does in her life every single day like a champion. She says she knows she has a target on her back but this is her moment she is here to show everyone who Dana Brooke is.
Brooke becomes the eighth woman to have held the 24/7 Championship since its inception in 2019. She joins, Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, Alundra Blayze, Carmella, Tamina, Alicia Fox, and Maria Kanellis Bennett to have won the gold.
Natalya posted on her social media that every woman in the locker room congratulated Dana on her win.
Outside the ring, Dana has been involved in the Be A Star campaign along with Bianca Belair, Titus O’Neill, Street Profits, Drew McIntyre, and NXT Ring Announcer Alicia Taylor.
Congratulations to Dana Brooke for being the new 24/7 Champion and making it out of RAW with the gold still in her grasp.
