The winner of the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey, is set to make her debut on the SmackDown brand this evening.
Rousey’s first round with WWE was solely focused on Raw, so this will be her first time to the blue brand and she is coming with a big decision. Who will she pick to face at WrestleMania 38 in April? Will it be the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch who Rousey left laying in the ring on Monday or will it be the woman she last eliminated in the Rumble, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair?
Last week, Naomi was finally able to get her one-on-one match with Sonya Deville and she came out as the victor in that bout. Deville was the reason why Naomi was eliminated from the Royal Rumble match after taking out her former funkadactyl sister, Cameron. Despite feuding for months, this feud between Naomi and Deville may be far from over based on the events that took place on Sunday.
Sasha Banks was shockingly an early elimination in the Rumble match. One that many thought was going to go the distance and by entering at number one she would have had to do to win. She was taken out by Queen Zelina. What is next for The Boss?
Also now that we are officially on the road to WrestleMania what will happen for the rest of the women of the blue brand?
