Bianca Belair has made her return to Raw after being viciously attacked by the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch two weeks ago. Just in time for their WrestleMania match, Belair took to the ring to deliver a strong message to Big Time Becks.
Belair started the promo off saying that she shouldn’t really be talking because of the attack on her throat that Lynch delivered. An attack that tried to take Belair out for good and cause her to miss WrestleMania. Belair feels as though Lynch has thrown everything at her and already showed all her tricks. She feels there is nothing that Lynch can do that will stop her from becoming Raw Women’s Champion.
Lynch’s music hit but the champion was not coming down from the ramp. Instead came out from under the ring. Belair caught her before she could make it into the ring with the steel chair. The two started to brawl in the corner which eventually had Lynch in charge of the situation after Belair went for the chair.
After delivering a chair shot to the midsection and to the back of Belair, Lynch introduced a pair of scissors. She said she was going to come for her hair. As Lynch got Belair in the position to cut off her braid, officials surrounded the ring but their help wasn’t needed as Belair hit not one but two KOD’s to the champ.
After the second KOD, Belair went for the scissors and started to go chop off the hair of Lynch. The officials tried to stop her but she continued to cut her hair numerous times before Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce entered the ring and tried to make her stop. Eventually, Belair would let up willingly and left the ring smiling with Lynch’s hair in her hands.
Lynch finally realized what had happened to her hair and started to scream in the ring, losing it as the segment ended while muttering that she is going to end Belair. The crowd chants “you deserve it.”
Moments later, Sarah Schreiber caught up with Lynch backstage as she had handfuls of her hair. She knocked the mic out of Schreiber’s hand and calls Belair a bitch.
Also on WrestleMania Raw, an eight-woman tag team match took place between all eight women that will participate in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match on Sunday. Sasha Banks, Naomi, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley defeated the team of the tag team champions Queen Zelina & Carmella, and Natalya & Shayna Baszler. The champions continue to show that they aren’t on the same page despite pulling off a fake-out last week.
Zelina attempted to try to get the pin herself after Baszler and Nattie took down Banks causing dissension amongst the team. Because Zelina attempted to steal the pin from Baszler, Baszler took out Carmella on the outside. Carmella was then too involved with seeking the help from her fiance Corey Graves on commentary and once again left Zelina to fend for herself.
Banks tagged in Naomi who delivered a kick to the back of Zelina before Morgan and then Ripley entered the match. Morgan set up Ripley for Riptide who executed it to pin Zelina to win the match. Zelina would crawl out of the ring and over to Carmella who was being comforted by Graves.
Things may not look good for Zelina and Carmella for WrestleMania, but Carmella is looking forward to her real-life wedding to Graves. But Carmella isn’t the only Superstar getting ready to tie the knot.
In a 24/7 segment, we now have two newly engaged couples. First, Reggie proposed to the 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke backstage. As Brooke was soaking in the moment, Tamina attacked her and tried to get a pin. Reggie was able to help Brooke escape as Akira Tozawa arrived. He would end up proposing to Tamina who accepted as well. Is a double 24/7 wedding on the horizon?
