Rhea Ripley‘s trajectory has changed since WrestleMania Backlash where she joined Edge and Damian Priest known collectively as Judgment Day.
Since joining the faction, Edge explained why Ripley was now included in the group on last Monday’s Raw. Ripley would defeat Liv Morgan afterward as their rivalry stems from their tag team breaking up weeks before.
While speaking to 99.5 WKDQ, Ripley spoke about joining Judgment day and how it seems to have resonated with the WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. Phoenix has been posting on social media during the change in character with her husband Edge. She hasn’t seemed on board with his heel change saying she still knows there is good in him. When Ripley appeared as part of Edge’s group, Phoenix responded with, “Not her.”
“I haven’t spoken to Beth, but I have been seeing a lot of posts on Twitter. I don’t know if she’s very happy about me joining Judgment Day,” said Rhea Ripley in a recent interview with 99.5 WKDQ. “Beth is gonna have to put her emotions aside and be on our side, pretty much, or she’s gonna have to fight me… Beth Phoenix is my dream opponent and really, if she disagrees with what we’re saying, I wouldn’t mind stepping in the ring with her and settling it once and for all.” [h/t – Fightful]
While it may be too early to tell where Judgment Day will take Ripley, there is always a possibility for her to get her dream match.
