The Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz would love to add more gold to her collection.
Steelz is currently sitting at the top of IMPACT’s Knockouts division and continues to be in a number of first. She was the winner of the first Knockouts Ultimate X match earlier this year and now she is about to step foot into the first Queen of the Mountain Match to defend her championship. But who else would Steelz like to face that is outside of the IMPACT promotion?
While talking about the upcoming Slammiversary event that will celebrate 20-years of the promotion, Steelz spoke with Battleground Podcast.
“Let’s go outside of IMPACT a little bit because that Kamille, man, I think Kamille and I, we have we’ve been this close, but we haven’t gotten in that ring together yet. I would have loved to step in the ring with Kamille. She’s a champ. I’m a champ. I mean, NWA-IMPACT, I’m sure they did their crossovers at one point. Mickie James, she brought my title over there to NWA one time, so I wouldn’t mind getting in the ring with Kamille, you know? We could do our little champ champ match…..I am the greatest, that beat the greatest. There’s nothing that I can’t do. Especially beating down someone like Kamille. That’s on period.”
Steelz goes on to say she intends to win Queen of the Mountain on June 19, go on to become the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion (which is currently an achievement made by Taya Valkyrie), and would like for Fire ‘N Flava to get back together at some point.
As for Kamille, she is set to defend the NWA World Women’s Championship on June 11 against KiLynn King at Alwayz Ready. On June 6, she will have held the championship for 365-days since defeating Serena Deeb this time last year.
