A new champion emerges on SmackDown as the SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan is set to make her first appearance in her new home since winning gold. Morgan won not only the Money in the Bank briefcase last weekend, but she cashed in successfully on Ronda Rousey to become champion. Rousey is set to respond to her loss tonight.
Natalya was a catalyst in keeping Rousey down after their SmackDown Women’s Title bout at MITB. Rousey retained before Morgan cashed in, but Nattie did a number to the leg of the now former champion.
On Raw, Morgan said goodbye to her old brand by teaming with the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair as they defeated Natalya and Carmella. Nattie feels that she is owed some thanks for setting Morgan up to win against Rousey. Morgan got the pin on Nattie in that tag team match to show her dominance heading into SmackDown.
