Jade Cargill Finds Her Next Challenger To Be Madison Rayne

Over the past few days, Madison Rayne has joined AEW as a coach for the women’s division. Since then, she confirmed on-screen during this week’s Dynamite that she would be an in-ring competitor as well.

While on commentary this past Wednesday, the TBS Champion and undefeated Jade Cargill came out to confront Rayne. Rayne wanted to step right up to the champion but instead had to go through one of the Baddies first in that of Leila Grey. The former five-time TNA Knockouts Champion would make her AEW in-ring debut against Grey on the Aug. 5 episode of Rampage.

Rayne and Grey would put on a nice little match but it would be the veteran to secure a victory after delivering Cross Rayne. There wasn’t much time for celebration as Cargill made her way out with a mic in hand. Cargill says that good help is hard to find these days and she should have just handled Rayne herself. She issues an open challenge for the Aug. 10 episode of Dynamite and invites Rayne to accept it. Rayne seemingly does.

As Rayne is yelling at Cargill from the ring, Kiera Hogan attempted to jump her from behind but Rayne was able to avoid it and reversed the advance with a Cross Rayne. Prior to this, for months Cargill was having a feud with Athena and Kris Statlander, but neither woman has been granted a title match.
