The October 13 edition of IMPACT Wrestling featured two pivotal Knockouts matches.
First up, Killer Kelly battled Tasha Steelz in a No DQ match. Their first bout at Victory Road saw Steelz win by DQ when Kelly used a chain on both Steelz and the referee. This time around, Kelly was able to legally use the chain while applying the Killer Clutch to score the victory over the former Knockouts Champion.
In the second Knockouts match, Gisele Shaw joined forces with VXT to take on Rosemary and the new Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka, collectively known as Death Dollz. Shaw proved to be a worthy partner for VXT as she scored the win for their team by pinning Rosemary.
Later on, Mickie James expressed in a backstage interview that she hopes that Jordynne Grace is still Knockouts World Champion if/by the time she reaches the end of the Last Rodeo. VXT and Shaw interrupted and initially challenged Mickie, but ended up backing down and claiming they needed to focus on their tag title rematch. Needless to say, James has plenty of history with both Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green that may be far from over.
