Over the weekend, Emma confirmed that she will be entering the 2023 Royal Rumble match. This took place on the SmackDown LowDown show where she confronted Zelina Vega. This will be Emma’s first Royal Rumble appearance.
Vega was speaking on the win that Legado Del Fantasma had during the SmackDown Tag Team Tournament when Emma approached her. She made a bold statement that she was going to win the Royal Rumble after declaring herself for it in comments during this past week’s SmackDown. Vega wonders who is going to stop her. No one in the locker room for sure.
After giving her past accolades as Queen’s Crown Tournament winner and former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Emma says that Vega is a lot funnier than she realized. Once Vega tells Emma that she is irrelevant, Emma says that Vega runs her mouth a lot but never gets in the ring to back it up. Emma then concludes that she will look for Vega in the Royal Rumble.
Emma’s addition makes seven out of 30 women declared for the match.
