WWE.com have posted edited clips of some of tonight’s Hall of Fame inductions including Wendi Richter‘s speech. The former Women’s Champion was inducted earlier tonight by fellow Hall of Famer, Roddy Piper. This isn’t her full speech, which I guess will only be available on the WrestleMania 26 DVD but it gives you a fair idea of what she said. Watch below:
I was pretty much a child at the time so I’m not familiar with Wendi’s work but whenever a woman is inducted into the Hall of Fame, it is a real moment for me and to many women’s wrestling fans out there too, I’m sure. She looked beautiful and elegant, and that speech was definitely heartfelt. Congratulations, Wendi!
