The yearly WWE Draft will be here in a few weeks around the same time as last year. It was officially announced on the April 8 episode of Raw. The first night will be on SmackDown, April 26 and will conclude on Raw, April 29.
Last year, all eligible women on the main roster were drafted. Alexa Bliss and Carmella who were, and still are, out on maternity leave were not picked. They may very well be back for this year’s draft. Aliyah was the only other woman not drafted but was subsequently released. Indi Hartwell, Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, and Zoey Stark were all called up from NXT.
Since last year’s draft, there have been some organic call ups to the main roster. Ivy Nile on Raw, Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown, and Elektra Lopez on SmackDown have made their place on the main roster over the past several months.
