Canada’s Drag Race is set to announce its start date and cast reveal this Wednesday for Canada vs. The World Season 2. It appears to have a start date of July 19 but will be confirmed this week.
For those that aren’t familiar with Drag Race or even the “vs. The World” version, there is rumored to be nine Drag Queens on this season. The “vs. The World” format is similar to an All Stars format which means these will be returning queens. The difference between a U.S. All Stars and a “vs. The World” is international queens participate together. The show is hosted by Brooke Lynn Hytes who was the runner up on the United States version for Season 11.
The preview of the cast announcement can be seen below and it is a wrestling theme. This does not mean the actual show will have any wrestling challenge to it, but if it does, it will not be the first time in Drag Race herstory.
In 2011, for Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 4, the queens did have a wrestling challenge. You can view this below which even came with promos that the queens had to deliver before getting into the ring.
