We have another set of wrestling newlyweds as WWE’s Rhea Ripley and AEW’s Buddy Matthews have officially tied the knot.
Ripley posted the news on her Instagram with the caption, “Til Death” and lists their marriage date as June 23. The couple announced their engagement last August. They have been together since 2022.
Ripley has been out of action since April after successfully defending the Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Ripley had to relinquish the title due to injury. The title then went to Lynch after winning a Battle Royal, but is now held by Liv Morgan.
The latest news is that Ripley may be returning for SummerSlam.
