Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has been out of action for two weeks. She was in a series of matches against Deonna Purrazzo over the past several months.
Rosa’s last match was at the end of August in a Four way. The winner became the number one contender for the TBS Title and that winner was Hikaru Shida who faced Mercedes Moné in a losing effort at All Out.
So where has Rosa been since the end of August?
On Busted Open Radio, Rosa revealed she has been sidelined with a concussion and will be out for at least a couple more weeks.
“If you feel like you have a concussion, make sure you stop. Don’t get in there. It’s not worth it. I can tell you, I’m right now, I’m suffering a concussion, so I’m gonna be out for a little bit, for a couple weeks,” she said.
