Nhooph Al-Areebi has struck gold on the indies as she defeated Tiffany Nieves for the Destiny Women’s Title for the Destiny World Wrestling promotion. The promotion is based in Ontario, Canada.
This championship is new to the promotion as Nieves became its inaugural champion by defeating Zoey Skye in August. This was Nieves’ first title defense.
As for Al-Areebi, this was her second match in just over two years. She returned to the ring for another Destiny show earlier this month. She had been out of the ring since September 2022 when she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Damage CTRL on Raw. She was released from WWE a year later in September 2023.
