The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament is in full swing and ready to crown the first-ever champion.
Already advanced from their first-round Triple Threat matches include Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria. Both women who are on opposite sides of the brackets.
The longest-tenured woman in the WWE locker room, Natalya, is still waiting to have her Triple Threat first-round match. In this match, she will be facing Kairi Sane and Alba Fyre.
According to a report by WrestleVotes, Natalya is favored to win the championship by some backstage.
“I did hear some feedback with some sentiments that were similar from sources that said they would like it to be Natalya as well. Natalya hasn’t held a WWE singles championship since 2017 when she defeated Naomi to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion at SummerSlam. She held the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Tamina in 2021.
