It’s Maximum Carnage tonight on AEW Dynamite, as the women’s roster look to compete in the first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match for a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Before the action, we take a look at a day in the life of “The CEO” Mercedes Moné, and her busy and booked schedule with four titles in her grasp.
In commentary tonight for the Casino Gauntlet Match, is none other than the champ herself, Mariah May.
First up at #1 is Kris Statlander, who earned the first spot last week in a three-way match. The second woman to meet her in the ring is Jamie Hayter. The two get off to a slow start, and in coming at #3 is Megan Bayne, making her return to AEW after quite some time in Japan.
Bayne makes quite a dominant impression on the other two competitors in the ring and May herself. In comes Julia Hart at #4, but meets a nasty suplex on the entrance ramp from Hayter.
In at #5 is Willow Nightingale, but meets the force of Bayne. Statlander and Nightingale have a momentary alliance against Bayne, but soon end up butting heads. Statlander meets a pounce from Nightingale, and at #6 Toni Storm arrives to try and get a quick rollup.
Harley Cameron rolls in at #7, but quickly meets the mist of Hayter and gets misted by Hart. In an upset, the rookie Storm gets a roll-up and heads to Grand Slam Australia to face May for the title.
