A new number one contender tournament has started with four women who would like to get a shot at the WWE Women’s Speed Champion, Candice LeRae.
On the March 26 match that was aired on the X Platform, Sol Ruca took on Katana Chance and walked away with a win. After trading back and forth victory rolls, Ruca hit the Sol Snatcher for the win. She will take on the winner from the next week’s match between Michin and Shayna Baszler.
LeRae has held the WWE Women’s Speed Title since October where she defeated IYO SKY in a tournament final. She has since defended it against Natalya and Zoey Stark. The number one contender tournaments alternate between the men and the women every few month.
