2010 is nearly at its end and thus, it’s time to launch our third annual Year-End Awards!
Who will follow in the footsteps of Beth Phoenix and Melina as ‘Diva of the Year’? Who will win ‘Knockout of the Year’ following in the footsteps of The Beautiful People and Tara? And of course, which match will be crowned ‘Match of the Year’?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with our process, here is how the awards work: First we announce all of the categories and awards we will be handing out and allow you to make your suggestions for some of the categories in this post. Using your suggestions, we will shortlist the nominees for each of the awards (5 per category). Then in three weeks on December 20th, we will announce the nominations and you begin voting for who you want to win each award. On January 1st, 2010, we will reveal all the winners!
This year, we have six key categories: Diva of the Year, Knockout of the Year, Match of the Year, Brand of the Year, Storyline of the Year and News Story of the Year.
Other categories include: Best Title Reign, Most Improved Wrestler, Most Skilled Wrestler, Best Newcomer, Best Finisher, Best Diva in Training, Best Babyface, Best Heel, Best Gimmick, Best Photoshoot, Most Stylish, Best Tweeter, One to Watch in 2011.
We want your suggestions for the shortlist in some of the categories. Please note: This is not a voting ballot. Your suggestions will help us put together the shortlist of nominees for each of the categories.
Be aware that the Year-End Awards are limited to only WWE, TNA and new this year, ROH (only ROH on HDNet/pay per views).
