Having trouble keeping up with all of the mainstream women’s wrestling that takes place off TV? Well fear no more! Diva Dirt has got your back with the House Show Roundown! Without any further ado, let’s kick things off!
This past weekend, things were pretty standard. WWE put on two supershows featuring Kelly Kelly defending her Divas Title against Beth Phoenix, while Impact Wrestling showcased Knockouts Champion, Winter, defending against a potential top contender, Mickie James.

WWE Supershow in Huntington, West Virginia
WWE Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly def. Beth Phoenix
“Beth came out first to mixed reaction and she started to get into it with Eve as the announcer. Kelly’s music hit to one of the biggest reactions of the night. Kelly is gorgeous in-person, even more so than on television. This was actually a long Divas match and very exciting, too. This is what the Divas could do with more ring time. Kelly won with a roll-up and celebrated outside the ring with Eve.” (Source)

iMPACT Wrestling in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
TNA Knockouts Champion, Winter def. Mickie James
“Mickie was very over, which was either because of her WWE fame or the Daisy Dukes Hardcore Country look she had. They had a good match that ended when Winter rolled up Mickie after a missed top rope move and held the ropes to win.” (Source)
Thoughts: Not much to say really, the same matches we’ve been seeing reported on for a while now. I will say they are putting to good use though, as I’m sure Kelly and Beth working together so much has helped to provide such great chemistry on their pay-per-view outings as of late. With the announcement that Velvet Sky will be involving in the fatal four way at Bound for Glory, I would like to see her take place in some live event matches as well, for it could propel that bout to a high level if chemistry can be formed this early ahead of time.
