All that video game-playing has paid off for the self-professed Geek Goddess, AJ, as she became the first female to win WWE’s THQ Superstar Challenge yesterday.
AJ defeated 15 other WWE Superstars in the annual video game tournament. In the opening round, she defeated fellow Diva, Tamina, followed by The Great Khali, Cody Rhodes and finally, Mark Henry. Yes, AJ has defeated the World’s Strongest Man — in the virtual ring, that is!
Following her win, Daniel Bryan’s main squeeze tweeted:
I am the THQ WWE12 Superstar Challenge champion. I will cuddle this trophy as if it were Daniel Bryan (he got himself a separate hotel room)
