After three months of rigorous voting, TNA Knockouts Champion Tara‘s Widow’s Peak has been named the undisputed top finishing move in all of women’s wrestling.
The veteran wrestler has used her vicious Widow’s Peak to put away countless opponents, both in WWE, where she competed as two-time Women’s Champion Victoria, and in TNA, where she’s a five time Knockouts Champion.
In the final round of voting in our Best Finisher tournament, the Widow’s Peak rip-roared to victory, dominating retired star Beth Phoenix‘s Glam Slam with a whopping 74% of the vote compared to Beth’s move’s 26%.
More than 34,000 votes were cast over the course of the tournament which featured 16 top finishers battling it out against each other in a bracket tournament.
The 16 finalists were selected based on fans’ suggestions and then you began voting for your favorite finishers over the course of four rounds.
To reach the finals, and ultimately take the crown, the Widow’s Peak eliminated an impressive list of finishers including Trish Stratus‘ Stratusfaction, Kharma‘s Implant Buster and Molly Holly‘s Molly-Go-Round.
Congratulations to Tara and the Widow’s Peak!
