The TNA Knockout whose name is on everyone’s lips, Taryn Terrell, recently took part in an interview with UK men’s magazine (or lad’s mag) Zoo. She discussed various topics, including how tough it has been for her to prove herself as a wrestler.
“It has been real tough for me. I think when a female comes in from the modelling world a lot automatically think you are just a model and not a wrestler,” said Taryn of her start in the business. She continued: “I want to give people a good reason for getting behind me, my passion is wrestling.”
Taryn has gave people plenty of reasons to get behind her as of late, including defeating Gail Kim in a Last Knockout Standing match at TNA Slammiversary.
In addition, the “Hot Mess” explained why she thinks the Knockouts division has been so successful for TNA. She said: “Every single one of the Knockouts works their butt off! Everybody is willing to give all, so when nobody holds back it creates magic. That’s the cool thing about TNA. The girls are beautiful but we are all freakin’ tough.”
Taryn also talked about her hobbies outside the ring and her particularly strange phobia… of dolphins!
“When I’m not wrestling I do a lot of stunt work for movies,” said the former Tiffany. “I love scuba diving, I’m actually obsessed with sharks. Everytime I get into the water I go searching for them! I am actually scared of dolphins but love sharks.”
On top of all that, Taryn discussed TNA’s 2014 tour of the UK, her worst injury and her love of Prawn Cocktail flavored potato chips.
