Slammiversary Rewind: Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell in a Last Knockout Standing Match (2013)

Tonight at Slammiversary, Knockouts Champion Angelina Love will put her title on the line against Gail Kim. Leading up to the match, we’re taking a look back at memorable Knockout moments from Slammiversary history.

Today, we’re going back to 2013, when Gail and Taryn Terrell took their feud to the next level in a Last Knockout Standing match.

No title was on the line, but you wouldn’t know it: Gail and Taryn pulled out all the stops to put each other down for the ten count. Taryn proved just how far she had come, demonstrating a toughness that few expected.

She would get the win – and considerable bragging rights – by hitting Gail with a running cutter off the entrance ramp. Taryn shocked Gail, along with much of the audience, by pulling off an upset that many thought would put her on the fast track towards a Knockouts Title shot.
