Your Two Cents is our interactive feature where we ask for the opinions of our Twitter and Facebook followers.
This week, we’re asking this: What is the greatest heel turn in women’s wrestling history? We’ve read your responses on our social media pages and picked some of the best submissions to highlight here on the website. As always, you can join the debate by leaving your comments!
- @babyd011_: Lita. Just because up until that point she was the most beloved Diva, so her turning in the manner that she did was really shocking.
- @BorisGlisic: Tara‘s heel turn in 2005 when she attacked Candice Michelle, Maria and Christy Hemme. The fun thing is she got huge pops, no heat.
- @DivoDrop_: Michelle McCool‘s heel turn after losing the Divas Title to Maryse, and attacking Maria.
- @giantjxxx: Has to be when Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle initiated Ashley Massaro on Raw. Seeing Torrie get drafted and turning heel was crazy!
- @HUGONICOLASYANN: The greatest heel turn? AJ Lee for sure! When she caught John Cena with the MITB briefcase and give the victory to Dolph Ziggler at TLC.
- @ItsOnlyJustAlly: I think that Eve Torres turning heel was great! it was fresh and it breathed new life into herself, also it was a big story on Raw!
- @JuanMRodz: Mickie James‘s heel turn on Saturday Night’s Main Event where she attacked Trish Stratus.
- @man18united: Trish for the Chris Jericho/Christian storyline. It was so interesting and Trish relished playing a different role, fantastic.
- @Megzzerr_: Lita had the most shocking heel turn. She was a fan favourite for so long.
- @numero0047: It may not be considered the “Greatest Heel Turn” but I really loved when Su Yung turned heel under the wing of Saraya Knight to join Valkyrie. It was unexpected and it really brought out a compelling character for her.
- @pikatrick: It’s gotta be Trish Stratus slapping the chapstick off Jericho at WrestleMania. That’s a good girl gone bad.
- @TheSierreCruse: Lita hands down. The most shocking heel turn ever. She was a great baby face but an even better heel.
- @wwedivasfan113: When AJ Lee pushed John Cena off of the ladder in the TLC PPV in 2012.
