AEW will be hosting its first night of Fyter Fest Dynamite episode on July 13. The women’s match booked for this show will be Anna Jay taking on Serena Deeb. That match aside, certain challengers are coming into focus for both the TBS Championship and the ROH Women’s World Title.
Deeb was in tag team action on the July 8 episode of Rampage alongside Mercedes Martinez. Both women despite working as a team as of late, feel that each one is better than the other. The match consisted of blind tags and trying to one-up each other as they faced the team of Kayla Sparks and Christina Marie. Deeb took the victory for her team with the Serenity Lock.
Post-match, Deeb locks in the Serenity Lock on Martinez. She eyes up the ROH Women’s World Title as she raises it up in the air. Despite not being officially confirmed, this will likely be the match for ROH’s Death Before Dishonor event on July 23.
Moving on to the TBS Championship. A promo was delivered by Athena and Kris Statlander. They both have seemingly demanded a championship match from the champion Jade Cargill. Statlander in particular has stated she has been with the company from the beginning. Athena states that she has wrestled all around the world. There was no response from Cargill but we may be seeing a Three-Way match for the TBS Title in the future.
