The Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup will be returning in 2023.
This year, AEW developed two Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournaments. One for the women and one for the men. The inaugural tournament featured names such as Ruby Soho, Jamie Hayter, Skye Blue, Toni Storm, Kris Statlander, Britt Baker, and more. The finals came down to Soho and Baker with Baker crowned the winner.
Tony Khan has confirmed on a pre-AEW Full Gear 2022 media scrum that the tournaments will return. He did not give a timetable for their return. The tournaments this year ended in May at AEW Double or Nothing.
