The Wrestle Carnival promotion now has its first women’s champion.
In an event over the weekend titled Carnival of Champions, the fairly new promotion crowned its first women’s and men’s champions. Alex Windsor took the honor of grabbing the gold first as she was the one out of ten women to get her hand praised in the end.
The nine other women involved were Mercedez Blaze, Gia Adams, Alexxis Falcon, Charlie Morgan, Rhio, Jetta, Lizzy Evo, Chantal Jordan, and Lana Austin. They participated in a Gauntlet for Gold match. The match originally was slated for only eight women, but Adams and Falcon declared that the Gauntlet couldn’t take place without them.
Windsor is also the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion. She started that reign in November after defeating Gisele Shaw. She successfully defend this title against Charli Evans over this past weekend as well.
Also at Carnival of Champions in singles action, Ivy defeated Taonga. Ivy will be the first challenger of Windsor’s belt on a Thursday Night Carnival event on Feb. 17. The company will also return with their Mardi Gras event in March. A number one contender tournament will take place at that time.
