Every week since debuting on Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss’s Moment of Bliss talk show has featured a big moment that’s gotten the whole wrestling world buzzing. From Nia Jax and Sasha Banks setting up a No. 1 Contender’s match, to the reveal of the Women’s Tag Team Titles, A Moment of Bliss has quickly become must see television.
Tonight’s episode delivered yet another huge moment in the show’s history. Following a brawl between every Raw female superstar – and Nikki Cross; she doesn’t even go here yet – entered into the women’s Rumble match, The Goddess took the opportunity to announce that she will be making an appearance in the match.
Bliss’s announcement comes after months of speculation regarding when the five-time Women’s Champion will finally be cleared to compete after suffering a concussion last October. We are happy to see that Ms. Five Feet of Fury will finally return to in-ring competition and will do so in a star studded Royal Rumble match.
Not to be outshone, NXT’s latest call-up Lacey Evans hit the stage straight after Bliss’s announcement. She addressed all of the “nasty, classless little girls” competing in the Rumble – staring right in Bliss’s direction – stating that she will be making her in-ring main roster debut in the women’s Rumble match.
Granted, The Classy Lady of WWE did not confirm whether she will be joining the Raw brand or SmackDown’s. What we do know for sure is that she will be the latest entrant joining the women’s Royal Rumble match.
Looks like the women’s Royal Rumble will be featuring both a long awaited return and a debut that has been just as eagerly anticipated. Now, we have to wonder if either of these athletes have what it takes to win the whole thing.
We’ll have to wait until Sunday to find out. Stay tuned to Diva Dirt to find out who joins the women’s Rumble next and don’t forget to tune in Sunday at 7pm on the WWE Network to check out WWE’s 32nd annual Royal Rumble event.
