Alexa Bliss pays close attention during RAW: “Lilly and I wanted to come out here just to keep our eye on someone”

Alexa Bliss and her friend Lilly have been thick as thieves since WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania, Bliss caused The Fiend to lose after distracting him from his match against Randy Orton and since then has gone off on her own. From this, Lilly emerged.

For the past couple of week’s Bliss has mentioned that Lilly was growing restless in the Playground. During tonight’s six-woman tag team match, both Bliss and Lilly came out to watch. In Bliss’s words, “Lilly and I wanted to come out here just to keep our eye on someone.” But who do they have their eyes on?

The six-woman tag team match saw WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax team up with Charlotte Flair as they faced Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, and Asuka. The appearance of Bliss and Lilly on their swing set at the top of the ramp caused all six competitors to stop their arguing in the middle of the ring.

The match continued as the spectators looked on. Asuka’s team would wind up winning the match after Asuka gets the pin on Baszler. Baszler went for the tag from Jax but Asuka knocked Jax off of the ring apron after Brooke tagged her in. Prior to going for the tag to Jax, Baszler’s knee gave way. Could this have been something that Lilly & Bliss caused?

Asuka followed up with a running shining wizard to Baszler for the three count. Flair pounced immediately after the bell and took down Asuka with a big boot. As Rose & Brooke checked on their tag team partner, Flair made her way out of the ring.

Flair may have had the last word, but Bliss & Lilly had the last laugh. The two would give their menacing laughs as all six women looked on wondering who it is that the pair are watching.

Moments later, Flair would approach WWE Authority Sonya Deville backstage. Soon after that, Deville had RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and Asuka in her presence to let them know that she has decided to have them face later in the night. Ripley said she knows this was Charlotte’s idea and although Asuka had a match earlier in the night, she was ready to go.

During the match, Flair would obviously make her way out to the ring and she joined commentary and was certainly making her presence known through various distractions. She admits it was her that told Deville to make this match, not that it was a big secret.

As the match winded down, Asuka delivered a missile dropkick from the top rope but was only able to get a two-count. Ripley then was able to deliver Riptide to pick up the win heading into WrestleMania Backlash.

What are your thoughts on who Bliss & Lilly may be targeting? Who do you have winning during the Triple Threat at WrestleMania Backlash? Check back in with Diva Dirt for coverage of that event this Sunday.
