WWE has announced that due to an injury, Alexa Bliss will be unable to compete at Sunday’s Evolution PPV match, where she was set to team up with Mickie James to take on the team of Trish Stratus and Lita. Bliss will still be at ringside for the big tag team match-up.
Per WWE.com:
Although James was originally slated to team with Alexa Bliss, The Goddess will not compete due to an injury and will be replaced by the wily Fox in this blockbuster matchup. The cunning Bliss will still be present in Mickie & Alicia’s corner.
Earlier this week, reports circulated that Bliss had suffered a concussion during a house show last weekend during a tag team match that featured Bliss and Mickie James taking on Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey.

Days following the rumors of Bliss’ injury, James briefly addressed the rumors surrounding her partners’ injuries during an interview with Busted Open Radio:
“Obviously, we all know, this isn’t ballet and it comes with the territory. So, as long as it’s what’s best for business and what’s best for her long-term health. I have no doubts that, regardless, we’ll all be out there and it’s gonna be amazing.”
Diva Dirt wishes Alexa Bliss a speedy recovery.
