Tonight on the main event of SmackDown Live, Alexa Bliss retained the SmackDown Women’s title against Becky Lynch in a steel cage match.
Alexa literally tried to look for an early escape by heading to the cage’s door at the sound of the bell but Becky kept her at bay, leading to a trade of back and forth offense from the champion and challenger.

After hitting a dropkick to Alexa from the top rope, Becky followed up with a second elevated attack, this time a BexPlex from the top rope!

Just as Becky was set escape the cage, La Luchadora would emerge at the cage’s door forcing Bex my back inside. The Lasskicker would then look to win via submission by locking in the Dis-arm-her on Alexa but the hold was broken by the interfering masked wrestler.

La Luchadora would kick Becky in the midsection, allowing Alexa to hit a Snap DDT that sealed Becky’s fate.

Post match, Becky went after La Luchadora, managing to at last unmask her and (as it was speculated earlier in the day) was revealed to be a returning Mickie James, who then joined Alexa in a double team attack against Becky, thus forming a new allegiance.
