Many members of the wrestling world are giving thanks to Triple H after his announcement made today that he will no longer be an in-ring competitor. He confirmed this news today during an interview with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith saying that he is “done” inside of a wrestling ring.
Once the news broke of his retirement, several WWE Superstars including Alexa Bliss took to social media to thank Triple H for the impact that he has had over the years. One of Bliss’ posts that she shared with WWE’s official announcement, explains that it was Triple H’s idea for her “Alexa’s Playground” segments.
She states in a caption, “The man who came up with the concept of ‘Alexa’s playground’ so talented in and out of the ring Thank you for everything @TripleH what an incredible in-ring career. #ThankYouTripleH“
Bliss also shared the photo of one of the most iconic entrances from Triple H at a WrestleMania event. At WrestleMania XXX, he faced Daniel Bryan and during his entrance, he was accompanied by then-NXT stars Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks. This was prior to these three names being on the main roster.
A photo from that moment was shared online today by all three women.
Several other female superstars weighed in on Triple H’s retirement and thanked him for all that he has done. Rhea Ripley shares a photo of them during the Mae Young Classic. Bayley thanks him with a photo of the two when she was NXT Women’s Champion and he was WWE Champion.
Bianca Belair talks about a moment she will always cherish between the two. Nikki A.S.H. Mandy Rose, Beth Phoenix, and Dana Brooke thank him for the opportunities and for believing in them. Carmella adds that he saw her as a singles competitor instead of just a hype girl.
Several current NXT Superstars also weighed in thanking Triple H. Some of the names include Cora Jade, Valentina Feroz, Zoey Stark, and more.
