Tonight on Monday Night’s Raw main event, Alexa Bliss defeated Sasha Banks to become a two time Raw Women’s Champion.

Sasha was able to stay in control for early part of the match but Alexa would begin to mount a comeback during the second half of the match.

After landing a superplex from the top turnbuckle, Alexa went to cover Sasha but got caught in the Bank Statement. Unable to make it to the ropes, Alexa reversed Sasha’s submission into a pin cover but Sasha kicked out.

Once both Superstars got back to their feet, Alexa used the ring ropes to avoid a second Bank Statement from Sasha and delivered a Snap DDT to put Sasha away for the three count.

Post match, Nia Jax’s music hit and she quickly came out to attack Sasha with a running corner splash. Nia then turned her attention to Alexa, congratulating her for the win.
The celebration was only momentarily as Nia would use this as an opportunity to betray Alexa and drop the new champion on the mat after lifting her on her shoulder.
