Just hours before tonight’s (Jan 28th) historic Women’s Royal Rumble, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced via Twitter that Raw Superstar Alicia Fox will be unable to compete at the Royal Rumble PPV event:
Due to injury, @AliciaFoxy will be unable to compete in tonight’s #RoyalRumble match…..

In addition to missing out at the Royal Rumble, Angle also announced that her injury will prevent her from competing in WWE’s ongoing Mixed Match Challenge.
Moving forward, she will not compete in the #WWEMMC & @Goldust will select a new partner.

WWE.com confirmed that Fox has suffered a broken tailbone, known as a coccygeal fracture.

It is also being speculated that SmackDown Superstar Tamina has been removed from the Women’s Royal Rumble match as well. She wasn’t mentioned in the promo video for the Women’s Royal Rumble match during the Kickoff show and she is no longer featured in show’s graphics promo photo
