Aliyah worked her second dark match in two weeks and this time she picked up a victory. Last week, she lost to Xia Li.
Indi Hartwell made her first dark match appearance since WWE has been using NXT talent for such matches. Although there is no guarantee that the talent used in these matches will be called up to the main roster, some have. Tegan Nox, Shotzi, and Toni Storm have all moved to SmackDown as a result.
As for Aliyah, rumors have stated that she has been moved to the main roster. She hasn’t made her official debut. On the July 13 episode of NXT, Aliyah left the Robert Stone Brand after she took her anger out on Stone signifying the end to their partnership. It is said that she will be on the RAW roster but she has currently had dark matches only for SmackDown.
Hartwell has been a member of The Way stable since December. Most recently the group has been arguing amongst themselves which has caused concern for member Austin Theory. Hartwell and Candice LeRae are former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. They recently dropped the titles to Io Shirai and Zoey Stark.
