As of tonight, WWE revealed all eight participants, who will compete in the 2019 women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The last four women were announced on the new episode of SmackDown Live.
WWE didn’t use qualifying matches to determine the competitors as they have in the past. Yesterday during “A Moment of Bliss”, Alexa Bliss presented the participants from the A show—Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi. Lastly, Bliss declared she will round out the group as the final member from Raw.
On SmackDown, Bayley was the first reveal before her not-title match against Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch. Mandy Rose declared she will also participate in the ladder match during a backstage segment with Sonya Deville.
Backstage correspondent, Sarah Schreiber, introduced the final two women, Ember Moon and Carmella, in an impromptu interview.
This is the second year in a row where eight women will participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match. There were only five competitors in the first iteration, making the match a bit more crowded. Hopefully, this year’s clash will be good as it was last year.
