Former in-ring talent and co-founder of SHIMMER, Allison Danger has reportedly been hired as a coach at the WWE Performance Center, according to the Wrestling Observer. She recently helped WWE in coaching at their recent Las Vegas tryouts in August. .
Allison Danger, whose real name is Cathy Corino, has had a 13-year in-ring career spanning from 2000 to 2013. Along with Dave Prazak, she co-founded and helps run the SHIMMER promotion. A promotion where many of the women’s wrestlers we see today in WWE, AEW, IMPACT, and others have wrestled in. Her brother, Steve Corino, has been a trainer/producer for WWE since 2016.
Allison recently posted a video hyping the return of SHIMMER for the first time in over a year. On Oct. 31, SHIMMER will have two shows that will feature the likes of Kimber Lee (SHIMMER Champion), The Sea Stars (SHIMMER Tag Team Champions), Hyan (Hear of SHIMMER Champion), Mercedes Martinez, Nicole Savoy, Willow Nightingale, Zoey Skye, Nevaeh, Brittany Blake, Zoey Skye, Veda Scott, Queen Aminata, Laynie Luck, Janai Kai, Allysin Kay, Holidead, Skylar, and Tesha Price.
Allison has been behind the training of many talent including the current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark.
