Update – Since the time of this writing, Amari Miller has taken to social media to say that she is okay and has suffered a concussion.
According to several fans in attendance of tonight’s NXT show, Amari Miller was stretchered out after her match with Lash Legend.
Miller was defeated by Legend and after the bout during the commercial break and off camera, she was attended to by medical. PWInsider has reported and confirmed that she was being checked out by medical but an update hasn’t been provided at the time of this writing. Legend put Miller away with a modified fireman’s carry slam and reports say she landed incorrectly. There was a concern for her neck area.
Miller and Legend briefly served as a tag team when they entered the ongoing Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic last week. They were defeated in the first round by Kay Lee Ray & Io Shirai. Prior to their one-on-one match this week, Legend blamed Miller for their loss.
After the match, Legend called out Nikkita Lyons who responded later in the night. Lyons asked Legend to bring back “Lashing Out” so that Legend can say what she needs to say to her face.
