AEW’s Anna Jay took to Twitter to provide fans with an update regarding her recent shoulder injury. Jay posted a picture of herself enjoying a drink after successful surgery on her shoulder along with the words thanking everyone who sent their support and well wishes.
“Hi everyone I just got out of my shoulder surgery, and all is well. For the next two days I will most likely sleep and eat only ice cream and soup. But after that…I will be working my ass off in any way I can. Thanks for all of the support and well wishes.”
Anna Jay suffered the injury while she was training for her AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament first-round match up against Britt Baker.
Her star has grown ever since her AEW debut last year. Jay debuted for AEW in a match against Hikaru Shida in only her sixth time in the ring. Since then Jay has been one of AEW’s most improved wrestlers. She joined the Dark Order and became known as the “Queen Slayer” and “99”.
Jay found success upon joining the group defeating Brandi Rhodes, Penelope Ford and Britt Baker.
All at Diva Dirt wish Anna Jay a safe and speedy recovery.
