Anna Jay returns from injury on Dynamite, Added to the Casino Battle Royale

Anna Jay is back!

The Dark Order member has been out of action since January when she went out with a shoulder injury. On tonight’s Dynamite she returned to save her tag team partner Tay Conti from a post-match attack.

Conti was successful in defeating Penelope Ford in a singles match. Ford joined forces with The Bunny on last week’s Rampage and although Conti got some revenge, she needed backup. Anna Jay has also been added to the Casino Battle Royale on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Abadon, KiLynn King, and Leyla Hirsch were added to the match on Sunday. Joining them will now be Anna Jay, along with Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Hayter and Rebel were added in a backstage segment with AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker. Baker stated she had an exciting new free agent signing to announce. This free agent was herself as she has re-signed with AEW.

Hayter and Rebel will be in action on Rampage this Friday, Sept. 3 as they face Kris Statlander in a 2 on 1 handicap match. Statlander meets Baker for the title on Sunday at All Out.

19 out of 21 competitors for the Casino Battle Royale have been confirmed. The Joker will stay as a surprise entrant.

The confirmed women are:

Nyla Rose, Big Swole, Penelope Ford, Tay Conti, The Bunny, Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Thunder Rosa, Kiera Hogan, Hikaru Shida, Julia Hart, Diamante, Emi Sakura, Abadon, Leyla Hirsch, KiLynn King, Jamie Hayter, Rebel, and Anna Jay.

A segment backstage saw Thunder Rosa being interviewed when she was confronted by both Nyla Rose and Jade Cargill. Rose and Cargill teamed up to attack Rosa until Vickie Guerrero and Mark Sterling agreed that the duo should save it for Sunday.
