According to WWE, they have announced their line up for their announce team for the Royal Rumble and its Kickoff panel. The Kickoff show begins at 5 p.m. EST and has a slew of panelists set to appear.
The first hour will consist of regulars such as Jonathan Coachman, Booker T, and Jerry “The King” Lawler. Beth Phoenix will also join in the first hour. Phoenix has been known to fill in as a commentator during such events as the Evolution pay-per-view and the Mae Young Classic.
Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, as well as David Otunga, will be the replacements for Booker T and Lawler in the second hour. In addition, a second panel will include JBL and Charly Caruso.
Kayla Braxton, Dasha Fuentes, and Sarah Schreiber will be conducting exclusive interviews during the Kickoff show.
Once the Royal Rumble pay-per-view begins at 7 p.m. EST, the announce team will be as follows:
“The Men’s Royal Rumble Match will be called by Michael Cole, Corey Graves, JBL and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
The Women’s Royal Rumble Match will be called by Renee Young, Beth Phoenix, Tom Phillips, and Corey Graves.
The Universal Championship Match and the Raw Women’s Championship Match will be called by Michael Cole, Corey Graves
The WWE Championship Match, SmackDown Women’s Championship Match, SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The exciting Fatal 4-Way Cruiserweight Championship Match will be called by Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.
Ring announcers for Royal Rumble will be Greg Hamilton and Mike Rome.”
