On this week’s edition of NXT UK, Aoife Valkyrie and Jinny settled their differences in a No Disqualification match.
The two have been feuding for several weeks with Jinny picking up a win due to constant interference from Joseph Conners. This led to the added stipulation that he would be locked inside a shark cage throughout tonight’s grudge match.
The match started after a melee on the entrance ramp that saw Valkyrie lock Conners in the cage. With Conners incapacitated Valkyrie turned her attention to Jinny.
The action crashed through barricades, ruined Noam Dar’s talk show set and went all over the venue. Trash cans, chairs laptops and tables all came into play as the two enemies beat the hell out of each other.
Disaster struck late into the match when Valkyrie suffered a knee injury after a sunset flip. After getting checked on by the doctors she toughed it to continue. Several chair shots later Valkyrie hit Made in Japan onto a chair for the win.
No word yet on the severity of the injury, but we will keep you updated.
Next, we see Nina Samuels barge into the assistant GM’s office demanding competition. She gets a match with Blair Davenport next week and is not happy.
Finally, Isla Dawn is still up to spooky tricks and playing with the lock of Dani Luna’s hair she stole last week.
