Next week’s NXT UK will see the undefeated Aoife Valkyrie take on the final boss Meiko Satomura. Valkyrie asked for this match after she left a feather for Satomura a few weeks back. Satomura let her future opponent know she knew exactly what Valkyrie was wanting and the match was booked.
Both of these women are prime to take the NXT UK Women’s Championship off of Kay Lee Ray who as of today has held the title for 600-days. Satomura has already gone toe-to-toe with Ray and wasn’t able to dethrone her. The winner of this match may just end up with a title shot to follow.
On this week’s episode, Jinny took on Dani Luna and walked away with a win. She gets the pin after a rolling kick from a distraction caused by Joseph Conners. Jinny and Conners go after Luna post-match but get chased off by Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster.
A video package also aired for another potential challenger for Kay Lee Ray’s title. Emilia McKenzie returned after two years to NXT UK a number of weeks ago. She wants to make a name for herself and climb the ladder in the NXT UK women’s roster. She lost in a match last week to Isla Dawn after winning in a tag team match alongside Satomura the week before. At the young age of 20-years old and under the tutelage of Satmoura, McKenzie’s future looks bright.
