If you are Ariane Andrew then you believe it is!
Andrew, the former WWE Diva named Cameron, posted to her Twitter account after Naomi lost to Piper Niven this week on RAW. Naomi and Andrew are former tag team partners during the latter’s run with WWE. The duo was known as The Funkadactyls during their time together. Andrew was released from WWE in 2016 after having a singles run.
The “shenanigans” that Andrew is referring to in her tweet is the quick match that Naomi had with the debuting Niven. Niven being Eva Marie‘s “muscle” was introduced on RAW this week much to the chagrin of Naomi. Eva returning to WWE and bringing the Eva-Lution was also mocked in this tweet by Andrew with #FUNKAlution. This has not been the first time that Andrew has commented on making a return to wrestling.
Ever since the inception of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, it has been a discussion on if Andrew would ever be brought back for a reunion of The Funkadactyls. A more important hashtag in Andrew’s post is #1stBlackTagTeamChampions.
Since Andrew’s release in 2016, she had seemingly moved on from wrestling only to return in 2020. During AEW’s Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament last July, she made her return to the ring and made her debut with AEW. She teamed up with Nyla Rose during the tournament and lost in the first round to Anna Jay and Tay Conti.
Recently, Andrew has released some new music.
