Tonight on SmackDown Live (September 4th), Asuka made her WWE television return in grand fashion when she helped Naomi even the score against the IIconics, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

After Naomi picked up the win over Royce, she found herself in a two on one attack from the IIconics until Asuka appeared. The Empress of Tomorrow then ran to the ring to make the save, cleaning the ring of the IIconics.
The WWE have now announced that Naomi and Asuka will team up at WWE’s Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia, to take on the IIconics in Tag Team Match:
The tension between these Superstars has boiled for quite some time. Earlier this year, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce shocked the WWE Universe when they defeated Becky Lynch and Asuka in a tag team bout. If that wasn’t enough of a reason to brag, the besties went on to also gloat that they were the first Superstars to beat Asuka on SmackDown LIVE.
From there, The IIconics set their crosshairs on another former Women’s Champion, Naomi, who also fell victim to the pair’s dubious numbers game. But, when the nefarious duo attacked their glowing adversary after she scored a huge win over Royce, The Empress of Tomorrow came to Naomi’s aid and sent the IIconics packing.
At WWE Super Show-Down, it’ll be an even playing field as Asuka and Naomi take on The IIconics.
Raw has already announced a Six Woman Tag Team match where current Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will team up with The Bella Twins to take on the Riott Squad.
WWE’s Super Show-Dow airs live on WWE Network on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT.
