The Empress of Tomorrow and highly decorated Asuka has reportedly signed a new contract with WWE. PWInsider is reporting that Asuka has signed a new long-term deal with the company.
The four-time WWE Women’s Champion, multi-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and former NXT Women’s Champion has been out of action since the Backlash event in May. At that event, she along with Kairi Sane dropped the tag titles to Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair.
In June, Asuka confirmed she had to have knee surgery which was a success. She was present during the Japan live events tour to join Damage CTRL at ringside.
