Rhea Ripley is finally on RAW and we finally have a RAW Women’s Championship match for WrestleMania.
On tonight’s RAW, the RAW Women’s Champion Asuka had a non-title match against Peyton Royce. Royce had called out Asuka two weeks ago on RAW Talk and said she was tired of having her time wasted. She was also tired of the same old, same old women getting shots at a championship.
Despite Royce having a strong showing against The Empress, she wasn’t able to put away the champ and Asuka was victorious. After the match, the expected debut of Ripley occurred.
She didn’t waste any time and straight-up challenged Asuka for her title at WrestleMania. Asuka accepted. This will be a first-time match between these two competitors. This match will take place on Sunday, Night Two on April 11.
This makes the second women’s match added to the big event. Sasha Banks will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against the winner of the Royal Rumble, Bianca Belair. This match will be on Night One on Saturday, April 10.
