So far we’ve witnessed three women qualify for this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Lacey Evans qualified on the June 10 episode of SmackDown after she defeated Xia Li. Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan joined the field thanks to their victory over Nikki A.S.H and Doudrop on last night’s Raw.
Scheduled for the June 20 episode of Raw will be Asuka taking on Becky Lynch where one woman will qualify. Ever since Asuka’s return to Raw, she has been a thorn in the side of Lynch as the latter has been spiraling downward ever since WrestleMania.
On the June 13 episode of Raw, Lynch was originally scheduled in a rematch against Dana Brook for the 24/7 Championship. The match never got underway as Lynch took out her frustration in an attack on Brooke. Asuka would appear and her and Lynch would get into a brawl that had Lynch retreated up the ramp with Asuka left in the ring.
Currently, it is being advertised as seven women for Money in the Bank and either Asuka or Lynch will become the fourth addition. You can view Morgan & Bliss on Raw Talk below talking about their victory. Money in the Bank takes place on July 2.
