Hello everyone, welcome to the honor club! Tonight to kick off the show, we had an ROH title match, a crossover between CMLL and ROH with Athena facing La Catalina.
They shook hands to start the match. Athena, in typical fashion, mocked her opponent this time with her over-the-top dance moves, OLE! After a shotgun dropkick, La Catalina took control (or she thought so), making the champ get out of the ring. La Catalina was received with a hard kick to the head after attempting a suicide dive.
But after asking who’s the baddest, the fallen goddess was ambushed with a roll-up; as the match progressed, Athena got more and more hefty, each move hitting harder than the previous one.
After a flying knee from La Diva del Ring and with both wrestlers down, she was able to save some time to recover only to get a near fall after a missile dropkick and an electric chair.
With back-to-back powerbombs, Athena was able to regain control of the match, and with a painful-looking O face, she got the three-count to retain her title.
Post-match, she raised La Catalina’s hand only to hit her again before fleeing the ring with a laughing smile.
Next, Billie Starkz faced local talent Mylo in a typical AEW exhibition match; both followed the code of honor. Starkz easily took control of the match, kicking and laying her frustrations on her opponent (and the ref) with little to no offense, Mylo, took the L and a beating from Billie after a Swanton Bomb.
And finally, the third match of the night, former AEW Champion Thunder Rosa returned to ROH representing México and with the crowd by her side versus Brittnie Brooks, bitch! Both wrestlers successfully showcased their personalities and with her Tijuana Bomb, Thunder Rosa was able to get the win in her ROH return!
Backstage, the Forever ROH Champion asked her new minions who’s the baddest, Diamante interrupted her looking for Billie; Diamante told her that she is minion number 1 now.
